The Carer’s Privilege card entitles holders to a wide range of savings as part of Glasgow Life’s concessionary discount scheme.
Many of Glasgow Life services are offered free of charge e.g. borrowing books, internet access, and visiting museums. For many of our chargeable services we offer concessionary discounts which Privilege Card holders can claim.
Concessionary price rates are available on:
• Gym and Fitness memberships at Glasgow Club centres.
• Hiring CDs and DVDs in Libraries
• Museum exhibitions (which have an entry charge)
• Tickets for Glasgow Life operated cultural events
Who can receive a Carer’s Privilege Card?
All carers over 18 years, who provide care for a Glasgow resident, are entitled to receive a Carer’s Privilege Card free of charge.
How do I claim my Glasgow Life Carer’s discounts?
To access the discounts available in sports and leisure activities, carers will be asked to present their Privilege Card at any Glasgow Club centre to join the monthly Fitness Unlimited package at concessionary rate or a concessionary annual subscription to the Pay as You Go membership.

Cultural events, performances, concerts organised by 3rd parties offer concessionary tickets at their discretion. Please contact the box office to find out if particular events / performances are eligible.
