Annual Review 10-11
Our Annual Review 2010/11 is a comprehensive assessment of the wide range of services we deliver on behalf of Glasgow City Council, for the benefit of the people of and visitors to Glasgow.
Across Glasgow, we are providing services which really make a difference to the lives of the people we serve. Despite the recession, in 2010/11, we recorded some 14.5 million individual attendances/uses of our services.
The people of Glasgow value the services we provide and this is consistently shown in the results of the Glasgow Household Survey. Indeed, the Autumn 2010 survey revealed that Glasgow Life services are, by some margin, the top performing services delivered by or on behalf of Glasgow City Council. Three of the top four scores for satisfaction are achieved by our services, including Museums and Art Galleries (98%), Libraries (97%) and Sport and Leisure Facilities (94%).
None of this would have been achieved without the considerable strength of our partnerships – with both individuals and organisations – building on our commitment to make Glasgow a successful and vibrant city.
