Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOISA) is an Act of Parliament that creates a public "right of access" to information held by public authorities.

What does FOISA mean for Glasgow Life?

The FOISA came into force in January 2005 and aims to increase openness and accountability by ensuring people can access information held by Scottish public bodies – including Glasgow Life.
