Bridgeton Library will be home to the British Film Institute National Archive

18/01/2013

We are delighted to announce that the new Bridgeton Library will be home to the British Film Institute National Archive.

Opening on 22nd February, BFI Mediatheque is a fantastic collection of the best and rarest film and tv programmes from the last century.  You can explore 'Scottish Reels' a collection of Scottish footage from the big and small screen, tune into one of our feature films such as Ken Loach's Sweet Sixteen or Alfred Hitchcock's Blackmail or view precious sports footage like the 1908 Olympic Games.

All that and much more for you to choose from in your personal viewing station, in the comfort of our brand new library! Oh, did we mention it's completely free....
