Unlimited Festival opens

Tramway's new visual arts and performance festival runs from 15-25 September.
15/09/2016
As Tramway's Unlimited Festival of extraordinary work by disabled artists begins, producer Jo Walmsley takes a closer look at a larger-than-life phone made by artist Cameron Morgan, on display as part of the visual arts programme.

Cameron's work, supported by Glasgow's own Project Ability, is exhibited alongside national and international art including an interactive computer game, Japanese outsider art and more. All exhibitions are free to visit, and accompany an exciting programme of live performance including dance, spoken word, a 'steampunk fairytale' and even a musical tackling the thorny issue of assisted suicide.

Tramway's Unlimited Festival runs until 25 September. Full programme details and ticket info are available at tramway.org/TUF.

Unlimited is a commissions programme which aims to embed work by disabled artists within the cultural sector. This is the first time the associated festival has come to Glasgow.
