Why not enter the 5k Fun Run

Bellahouston Park
1st April 2012

Hundreds of people from across Glasgow are expected to pull on their trainers next month for one of the city’s most popular races, the annual Glasgow Running Network 5k Fun Run in Bellahouston Park.  Since its launch in 2001 the GRN 5k Fun Run has grown in popularity and last year attracted a record-breaking 780 participants.

Entries are now open for this year’s race, which takes place on Sunday 1 April, and organisers are hopeful of a similar number of participants. The GRN 5k is open to males and females over 15 years of age and regularly attracts runners, joggers and walkers.

Online entries will close on Sunday 25 March though you can still register to enter right up till race day by calling the race hotline.

Entry costs £11, with all Glasgow Running Network and Glasgow Club members receiving a £2 discount.

To book your place please visit www.runglasgow.org/GRN or telephone 0141 287 5079.

All finishers will be given a recorded time, a t-shirt, medal and goody bag. On the day registration, costing £10, will also be available.
