Our Annual Review 2011/12 is a comprehensive assessment of the wide range of services we deliver on behalf of Glasgow City Council, for the benefit of citizens and visitors.
Across Glasgow, we are providing services which really make a difference to the lives of the people we serve. In the last year, we recorded a record 16.8 million individual attendances/uses of our services – up 2.3 million from the previous year. In its first year, the Riverside Museum exceeded all expectations, recording 1.6 million visits and winning a raft of national and international awards.
None of this would have been achieved without the considerable strength of our partnerships – with both individuals and organisations – building on our commitment to make Glasgow a successful and vibrant city.
We hope you will find the report both interesting and enjoyable.
