On Your Radar
On Your Radar is an arts programme for people with learning disabilities. There is a range of tailored activity taking place in Glasgow throughout the year and we aim to highlight the Arts Ambassadors Team and new developments for 2011 into one programme. The organisations involved continue to meet up to talk about how we can develop 'On Your Radar'.
Theatre Arts Workshops at Tramway
This project provides an opportunity for disabled adults to experiment and explore contemporary theatre practice. This is an exciting opportunity which provides the chance to develop skills in performance, visual arts and music. Theatre maker Rachel Clive will lead, supported by a host of skilled professional artists and performers. If you have experienced or are interested in developing new skills then this could be for you.

Everyone is an engage Scotland Project that is aiming to increase access to galleries in Scotland for disabled and deaf people. The project is supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland and has built on learning from a similar project, Explore, that engage ran in England and Wales. Everyone is funding four participation and research projects that have been selected by the Everyone Panel. Projects will be running from April to October 2011, with evaluation and peer sharing events taking place in November. Everyone has been planned to assist the participating galleries with their longer-term access plans and policies.
In Glasgow the Everyone Project is supporting Project Ability in a cluster with Glasgow Print Studio, GMac, Street Level and Glasgow Life. This project will be looking at access to Trongate 103 for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
