About Glasgow Arts Funding & Grants
Glasgow Arts manages the Cultural Grants programme on behalf of Glasgow City Council; this includes the Arts Development Scheme and the Glasgow Visual Art and Craft Award Scheme.
Glasgow Visual Art & Craft Maker Award Scheme 2016/17
Run in partnership with Creative Scotland, this scheme offers awards to individual artists and makers, based or resident in Glasgow, towards costs involved in the research, development and creation of new work.
PLEASE NOTE There will be no further deadlines in the 16/17 financial year.
Subject to availability of funds, it is anticipated that the 2017/2018 scheme will open again in the spring when guidelines and application forms will be available to download. Please keep checking this website for further information or send your details to email@example.com and an application form will be emailed to you when the scheme opens again.
Arts Development Scheme 2017/18
Glasgow Life is now inviting applications to the Arts Development Scheme 2017/18.
This scheme encourages the development of arts and cultural activity in the city and supports access and participation in the arts. Awards of up to £5,000 are available to formally constituted groups and organisations. Please note all applicants must demonstrate a partnership approach to funding, we will not fund the total cost of a project.
The closing date is Friday 24 February 2017 and will support arts activities delivered in Glasgow between April 2017 and March 2018.
