This exhibition has now closed.

We loved welcoming you to celebrate the iconic style, creativity and cultural impact of Barbie. Thank you for being part of this special exhibition and helping make it such a memorable experience! 

The major exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum featured over 250 objects, from 1959 to the present day and showcased fashion, architecture, furniture and the many friends of Barbie.

Barbie: The Exhibition, created in collaboration between the Design Museum, London and Mattel, made its Scottish debut at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and was proudly hosted by Glasgow Life Museums. Barbie: The Exhibition moves to Melbourne Museum next, 28 November - 16 May 2027.
