The AVIVA Series gives you the opportunity to witness great athletics action in Glasgow as the 2012 season gets under way with the unique AVIVA International Match at the city's Kelvin Hall Indoor Sports Arena.
The event's unique format see athletes compete as part of a team for national glory. Last year saw Britain's multi-event specialist Jessica Ennis beat the reigning World Indoor Champion Lolo Jones in the 60m hurdles, before Helen Clitheroe stormed to victory in the 3,000m. Helen's victory also saw her break Liz McColgan's 22-year stadium record in the process!
These were just a few of many outstanding British performances by AVIVA GB and NI team but it was not enough to stop Germany taking overall victory ahead of the USA, Sweden and a Commonwealth Select.
