Emirates ArenaEmirates Arena

Glasgow's spectacular Emirates Arena is the home for the Glasgow World Cup Gymnastics.

General travel information to Emirates Arena

With easy and frequent public transport links by both bus and train, getting to the Emirates Arena is simple. Please note that all train stations serving the Arena are now operational and as a result, there will be no shuttle buses to the 2016 event. There are lots of other ways to get to the World Cup using Glasgow's public transport network.

Several bus routes serve the Emirates Arena. Travel from the city centre (for approximately 30 minutes) on routes 61, 62, 64, 255 or 240 and disembark at the Forge Shopping Centre, then take a short 10 minute walk to the Arena. Click here for a map of the walking route.

You can plan your bus journey with Traveline Scotland on their website or by calling 0871 200 2233 (calls cost 10p per minute from a BT landline (UK), charges from other providers or mobiles may vary).

The quickest cycling route is via National Cycle Route 75 (Glasgow to Cambuslang) followed by a short on-road cycle to London Road.

National Cycle Route 75 can be accessed from National Cycle Route 756 (Glasgow to East Kilbride), National Cycle routes 7 & 75 (Glasgow to Paisley/Glasgow to Loch Lomond) and local cycle routes within Glasgow.
