What is Sandyford Library and Information Services?
Sandyford Library is a vibrant health information hub freely available to everybody! It can be found within the Sandyford NHS Service, located at the corner of Sauchiehall Street and Claremont Street, about five minutes walk from the Mitchell Library. The modern and friendly library sits within the ground floor foyer area, opposite the six free public internet PCs.
It’s easy to use Sandyford Library – check us out on the website, reserve books to be sent to your own local library for collection, or why not call in for a look round? You’ll be surprised at what we have to offer, and you can enjoy a delicious coffee whilst you are discovering what we can do for you.
The library stocks a wide range of material on all aspects of health and wellbeing, including pregnancy and babycare, men's health, eating disorders, healthy living, relationships, sex and sexual problems, stress / anxiety, LGBT issues, and a great selection of positive thinking self-help books, leaflets, CDs and DVDs. Everyone is welcome and the library staff are happy to help you find the information you need.
