Glasgow Libraries and Glasgow North Regeneration Agency present a new programme of workshops to give assistance in gaining employment to the people of the north of Glasgow.
A New Approach
Make it Work is a new modern approach to the Job Clubs previously run by the Benefits Agency taking a more holistic approach by signposting opportunities for improving health, learning and recreation rather than simply concentrating on gaining employment.
The Make it Work programme is now running in the following libraries across the city. Contact the library for more information or just drop in!
Springburn Library Mondays 1pm - 4pm
Maryhill Library Tuesdays 1pm - 4pm
Royston Library Wednesdays 1pm - 4pm
Milton Library Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
Successful Pilot
Make It Work was piloted at Royston Library from 3rd November 2010 to
9th February 2011 helping nearly 20% of attendees find employment during that period.
