The Triple P Programme

The international award winning Positive Parenting Program®, Triple P - backed by over 25 years of proven, world wide research, has the answers to your parenting questions and needs.

Whether you’re the parent of a tantrum throwing toddler or a truanting teenager, Triple P gives some useful ideas to help you meet the challenges of raising children.

Sessions are run regularly in libraries throughout Glasgow. For more information on Triple P courses in your area, or to reserve a place, call 0141 287 2855 during office hours. Alternatively, email

Visit our What's On section to find out about events taking place in your local library and other venues throughout the city.

Invite us to your school parents' evenings or new pupil sessions.

We'll give a talk / presentation to parents and / or teachers about our many facilities and services.  We'll also bring along a great selection of books as well as library application forms, making it easy for parents to take out library membership for themselves and their children.

Please email for more information.

Bounce and Rhyme

Regular Bounce and Rhyme sessions are held in all our local libraries. Parents, carers and children aged 2 or under can enjoy action songs, rhymes and stories. These help children’s literacy and numeracy skills and are a great way for everyone to brush up on their nursery rhymes!

Visit your local library page to find out when events are taking place near you.

Get Glasgow Reading

Get Glasgow Reading aims to get adults and children reading together and sharing the magic of books. The project includes events and storytimes citywide - visit your local library page to find more information.

The Get Glasgow Reading website features activities to help encourage reading at home and in the library.
