Computers and Learning

Library members enjoy FREE access to the Internet and office applications at all of our Community Libraries and The Mitchell Library.

If you are new to computers all our libraries run courses for beginners.

All libraries are equipped with assistive technology allowing users with visual or physical impairments to use our computer facilities.

Glasgow Libraries have a dedicated Learning Team which provide a range of tutor-led computer classes. These classes are available to everybody and are a fun and informal way to learn about computers- from the basics of switching on a computer and using the Internet, to courses certificated by BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT.  More about computer classes.

If you are interested in attending a course or would like some more information please call us free on 0800 027 6402 or register here »
