Shared Stories of Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries

Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries is a community based and volunteer led network of cancer information and support services. We provide this support in dedicated spaces in libraries throughout Glasgow.
“you don’t want always want to talk to your family, you don’t want to worry them, sometimes that’s why I’d go to the drop in service”  Noreen - Service User Macmillan @ Langside

People affected by cancer who come into our services sometimes have specific questions or worries, but more often they just want someone to listen to them. Everyone needs a safe space to talk and share what they are going through, that's what we provide.

If you would like to find out more about what our service can do for someone affected by cancer you can read Aislinn's Story or give our team a call on 0141 287 2924.
