Established by HRH The Prince of Wales, The Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise (PRIME) is the only national charity dedicated to providing everyone over the age of 50, who is not in full-time work, unemployed or under threat of redundancy, with the support to set-up their own businesses as a route back into sustainable and fulfilling employment.
With 45% of unemployed over 50s having been out of work for over 12 months and 65% of older people believing age discrimination still exists in the workplace, PRIME’s support to the over 50 community is more important now than ever.

Through a range of services, including business training courses, networking events, mentoring and online resources, PRIME has helped more than 25,000 people explore the possibility of self-employment in many different industries.
