The Registrars Genealogy Centre on level 3 of the Mitchell provides you with all the vital records to begin your family history journey

The registrar provides the official digitised indexes and images for all of Scotland of the following: the statutory records of births, marriages and deaths; Old Parish Registers, and Census and much more.

Booking Information

The current fee per person is £15.00 per day or part thereof.

You can pre book day search places in person at The Mitchell Library, by phone or by email.
