Copying material from Special Collections

If you require copies, please ask. Any copying is at the discretion of the librarian and/or the library conservator. Depending upon the source material, it may be possible to obtain digital laser copies or image files using our in-house Photographic Service. Material from Special Collections cannot be photocopied and creating images with mobile phones, tablets or digital cameras is not permitted.
You can obtain copies in person at the Library by completing an order form - advance payment is required. Forms include a copyright declaration allowing copies to be made for private study only. Copying is not done during your visit but can be collected later or posted to you. Express orders can be undertaken at extra cost.
You can also obtain copies without visiting Special Collections - staff will advise on the most appropriate method of copying and payment. Contact us for more information.
