Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card

You can apply for a Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card at Langside Library!

With the Glasgow Kidz Card anyone aged 5 to 11, living or attending school within the Glasgow City Council boundary, can obtain the card free of charge and enjoy discounts around Glasgow including free simming, films and more.  Click here for more information.

The Young Scot Card is free for all 12 to 18 year olds living or attending school in the city, and gives you access to tons of special offers, discounts and services. Click here for more information.

Free Money And Benefits Advice Service

We are also working with the Citizens Advice Bureau to offer a free and confidential money and benefits advice service within the library, alternate Thursdays from 12.30pm.

The Macmillan Cancer Information And Support Service


If you're affected by cancer you want to know there's someone you can turn to for help. Someone who can help find answers to your questions, whatever they may be.

If you live in Glasgow and want to find information, support and practical help or would just like someone to talk to, come along to the Macmillan Information and Support Service at Langside Library​. You can talk through issues and concerns with our staff and trained volunteers​

Free Events and Activities 

Please note a change to our Bounce and Rhyme sessions for 2015. Due to high demand these session will now be split by age, 0-12 months and 1-2 years. This ensures we can delivery Bounce and Rhyme in a safe environment for both mother and child. Changes are effective from 12/01/15. Please note there will be no Bounce & Rhyme sessions on 05/01/15.
