Maryhill Library Has Now Re-Opened

Our friendly staff are looking forward to welcoming you to the new and improved Maryhill Library! 

Extensive work has been carried out on the ceiling to restore it to it's former glory and brand new shelf displays in the children's area are just a few of the improvements you'll notice. 

As well as all the usual services you expect from your local library including a huge range of books to borrow, free events and activities and services such as Macmillan Cancer Support and Money Advice Sessions.​ Find out more about the excellent services we offer below!

Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card


You can apply for a Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card at Maryhill Library!


With the Glasgow Kidz Card anyone aged 5 to 11, living or attending school within the Glasgow City Council boundary, can obtain the card free of charge and enjoy discounts around Glasgow including free swimming, films and more.  Click here for more information.


The Young Scot Card is free for all 12 to 18 year olds living or attending school in the city, and gives you access to tons of special offers, discounts and services. Click here for more information.

The Macmillan Cancer Information Point

If you're affected by cancer you may want to know there's someone you can turn to for help. Someone who can help find answers to your questions, whatever they may be. 

The Macmillan information point at Maryhill Library can help you find information you need on living with all aspects of cancer as well as signposting you to the nearest Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries drop in centre.​
