                   **********CUSTOMER NOTICE***********

Maryhill Library requires some urgent repair work which will result in some areas being closed for a short period of time. 

In the first instance, the Project Room will be closed from Thursday 29th June and will reopen on Monday 10th July. From Monday 10th July the adult area of the library will be closed for approximately 4 weeks.

During this time, the Project Room and the Children’s  Area will remain open. Our Revenues & Benefits and Jobs & Business Glasgow sessions will be continue within Maryhill Library and staff within the library and will operate at the usual times.  

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be advised the nearest alternative libraries are Possilpark Library, Anniesland Library, Woodside Library

Our friendly staff are looking forward to welcoming you to the new and improved Maryhill Library. We also have a lot of new events and activities on at the library so we hope to see you soon. Full details of all library events are given below.  

Extensive work has been carried out on the ceiling to restore it to it's former glory and brand new shelf displays in the children's area are just a few of the improvements you'll notice.

Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card

 

You can apply for a Glasgow Kidz Card and Young Scot Card at Maryhill Library!

 

With the Glasgow Kidz Card anyone aged 5 to 11, living or attending school within the Glasgow City Council boundary, can obtain the card free of charge and enjoy discounts around Glasgow including free swimming, films and more.  Click here for more information.

The Macmillan Cancer Information Point

 
If you're affected by cancer you may want to know there's someone you can turn to for help. Someone who can help find answers to your questions, whatever they may be. 

The Macmillan information point at Maryhill Library can help you find information you need on living with all aspects of cancer as well as signposting you to the nearest Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries drop in centre.​

 

Money And Benefits Advice  Service

We are also working with the Glasgow City Council and Citizens Advice Bureau to offer a free and confidential advice service within the library by appointment only.  For more info on this service or to book an appointment please call the library direct today.
