What's on at GoMA

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there are changes to our exhibitions programme:

Unfortunately, the Nathan Coley installation Lamp of Sacrifice in Gallery 4 will not re-open due to water damage.

However, we do have Alasdair Gray: Spheres of Influence in Gallery 3 until 25 May. Gallery 2 will re-open on 19 February with Ballet of the Palette, which is an exhibition of 20th century paintings from Glasgow Museums' collection, chosen by contemporary artists who exhibited in the 2013 exhibition, A Picture Show.

We have a fantastic library, internet hub, cafe and shop - why not drop in while you are here and also enjoy the unique architecture of this historic building.

We also offer a range of programmed activities for all ages. Please ask any member of staff for more information or check out our What's On brochure here.

We apologise for any disappointment caused by the early closure of the Nathan Coley installation and thank you for your patience during this time.

As well as a busy programme of temporary exhibitions, GoMA also hosts events for all ages. Regular programmes include:

  • Saturday Art Club, weekly drop-in sessions for children
  • Adult Art Afternoons run every Sunday from 1-3pm

  • Thursday Exchange - evening art events on the third Thursday of every month.
