Families

Glasgow Museums are exciting places for families – whether it’s a chance to learn together or just have a fun day out. Across our 9 venues there’s something for everyone!

Our family workshops and events are all listed in our What’s On brochure which is issued every 2 months. Have a browse here to see what’s coming up.

Here’s a summary of our regular programmes:

Weekend programme:

  • There’s something on most weekends at our venues for families. These tend to be drop-in except for GMRC which is pre-bookable.
  • GoMA’s popular Saturday Art Club takes place every week from 10.30 am – 12.30pm and is suitable for ages 3 – 12 years. No need to book, just come along to our rooftop studio and get creative!

Holiday Programme:

We run sessions Monday – Thursday, usually in the afternoon, every Spring, Summer and October holiday. Check the related documents for our next holiday programme or look at the What’s On guide. Remember to check if it is drop-in or bookable.
