The Innu live in Canada in the land they call Nitassinan. It is on the eastern side of the Labrador peninsula.
They have lived there for thousands of years, but the Canadian Government insists that nobody lives there. They say this so they can continue flight testing, dam building and mining.
For 17 years the Innu have been protesting against the use of their ancestral lands for NATO military flight testing.
NATO finally stopped test flights in 2005.
