About Friends of Glasgow Museums
The Friends of Glasgow Museums (FoGM) is one of the oldest established Friends' organisations in the UK, founded in 1944 with the aim of cultivating interest in and supporting the various activities promoted by Glasgow Museums.
FoGM members are part of a Museums Service visited by over 2.5 million people each year. Glasgow Museums receives no funding from the Government but sustains some of the world's greatest treasures.
