Gift Aid

Gift Aid

By adding Gift Aid to your ticket purchase you are supporting the conservation, display and interpretation of Glasgow’s important civic museum collections. Thank you for your support.
Glasgow Life (charity number SC37844) manages nine museums across Glasgow. Most museums are open 7 days a week and are free to enjoy. A Gift Aid ticket to our special exhibitions includes an optional 10% donation on top of the full ticket price. Your donation goes directly towards the conservation, protection and display of the important civic collection and helps to ensure Glasgow Museums are accessible to everyone in the city.

What is Gift Aid?

The Government supports the work of charities with the Gift Aid scheme which allows Glasgow Life to claim back the tax of ticket price you are paying. By purchasing a Gift Aid Ticket we are able to claim Gift Aid on the whole amount given by you.  For example if you purchase a £3.30 Gift Aid ticket we are able to claim 83p from the Government.
Gift Aid tickets are available at the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery ticket desk located just outside the entrance to the exhibition.  In order to process the Gift Aid we require a few details from you and will ask you to complete a Gift Aid form which will only take a couple of minutes to complete. Please see our privacy policy here
