Kelvingrove Organ

Kelvingrove Organ

Kelvingrove has a magnificent organ, which was built in 1901 by Lewis and Co, of London. It was initially housed in a temporary concert hall for the duration of the 1901 Glasgow International Exhibition.

When the exhibition ended, it was bought by Glasgow Corporation (now
Glasgow City Council) and moved to its permanent home in the north end
of the Centre Hall in 1902.

Daily Recitals

We have a programme of daily organ recitals. These performances are free and take place at 1pm Monday - Saturday and 3pm on Sundays.
