The Burrell is open daily except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 1 and 2 January. On Hogmanay, 31 December, the museum closes to the public at 12.30pm. We are open at all other times of the year, and are open on public holidays except those mentioned above.
How to get to the Burrell
The Burrell Collection is in Pollok Country Park in the south of Glasgow.
There is pay and display parking on site, or you can travel to the Burrell Collection from Glasgow City Centre by rail or by bus.
By rail: Take a train from Glasgow Central station to Pollokshaws West train station.
By bus: First bus services 34, 45 and 57 run from Glasgow city centre, and stop on Pollokshaws Road, opposite the main entrance to Pollok Country Park.
It takes about ten to fifteen minutes to walk to the Burrell Collection from the entrance to the park, and there are a number of signposts along the way.
