Can I look at the collections on my own?
 
Visits are free but need to be booked in advance. As this is a store and not a museum, visitors are not able to look around on their own. Members of the Learning and Access team are available to give tours that can be designed specifically to meet your needs and interests. These tours have to be booked in advance.
 
Can I take photographs?
 
You cannot take photographs in the stores. Permission must be sought in advance to take photographs of objects. Find out more on our Photography, Drawing and Video Recording page.

How can I get to Glasgow Museums Resource Centre?
 
Trains for Nitshill leave from Glasgow Central Central Station Monday to Friday. First Bus services 47, 48, 56, 57 from Glasgow City Centre all stop near the museum.
