Glasgow Museums Resource Centre (GMRC) is a fantastic family venue. Kids and adults alike love the opportunity to sneak behind the scenes and see what a museum store is like - especially one that's as big as ours, and with such an amazing variety of treasures to discover!
To access our stores, you must be accompanied by a member of staff, so we have an ongoing programme of events so that visitors of all ages get the most from the venue.
Contact us to book Daily Tours, or join our regular programme of Themed Tours - exploring particular collections, including the Art Collection and Transport and Technology Collection - and Specialist Tours, for expert insights into different objects, subjects and stories.
Families with children will enjoy our mothly Family Friendly Sundays and regular Archaeology Uncovered sessions.
On top of these, we run special one-off tours and practical courses for all ages.
