Thousands of people from across the world contributed to the public appeal for the restoration of Kelvingrove.
Most of the responses came from the people of Glasgow. This means that nearly 9,000 names are on the walls of Kelvingrove, and will remain there as a testament to the affection so many people have for the building.
The names are applied onto brass plaques and are now on display on Donor and In Memoriam Walls in the Centre Hall.
You can view the names on the Donor Wall and In Memoriam by following the links on the left hand side of this page. They are permanently displayed as a reminder of how much Kelvingrove meant to those whose names appear on them.
The appeal is now closed, and the Trustees extend a warm thanks to everyone who has contributed.
