The Art Fund has been a stalwart supporter of acquisitions for Kelvingrove since 1903.
It has helped Glasgow Museums buy over 300 objects, including:
- Van Gogh’s Portrait of Alexander Reid
- the Hill House writing desk by Charles Rennie Mackintosh
- Thomas Faed’s The Last of the Clan, and
- Stephen Conroy’s Self-Portrait.
