The new display themes would also act as orientation points to help visitors navigate their way through the building, both physically and intellectually.
They would also be split into two main categories, Life and Expression.
The two main categories would be located on opposite sides of the building:
- Expression in the east, and
- Life in the west.
Orientation points would be marked by significant objects such as the Spitfire and the giant Irish deer.
This would ensure visitors would be able to easily orientate themselves with the building and the displays.
