Twenty-five themes were chosen for the restored Kelvingrove.
Themes ranged from the obvious such as French Art or Ancient Egypt, to new areas never before explored thematically, such as:
- Cultural Survival
- Glasgow Stories, and
- Every Picture Tells a Story.
