The Centre Hall on the ground floor is a social space within the museum and features the Mini Museum for under 5s.
Leading from this, the two side courts are the focus for the two wings of the museum, and introduce the themes of Life and Expression.
The Art Discovery Centre and the Environment Discovery Centre feature hands-on displays.
