Animal Armoury explores the idea that human offensive/defensive technologies are a product of a deeper evolutionary process.
Humans have extended their own evolution by inventing ways of physically augmenting themselves. But it is also possible that invention is just the human manifestation of basic biological development.
In Animal Armoury we find out that all of the basic
structures appear both in
the natural world and in human experience. These are:
- attack
- defence
- weapons, and
- armour.
A mechanism either works or fails. Is either long-lived or rapidly defeated.
