Many famous photographers compose their photographs as carefully as an Old Master painter.
This story display presents a diverse selection of images celebrating the range and beauty of the museums' photographic collections.
It is divided into two sections:
- photographs inspired by the natural world, such as Patricia Macdonald aerial landscapes, and
- those inspired by city life, such as Joseph McKenzie's Gorbals children.
An interactive exhibit based on Charles Kirk's stereoscopic images allows visitors to see the natural world in three-dimension.
