Engenuity

The Anderson Special car is an example of ‘enginuity’. The excellence of the design is a combination of engineering with ingenuity and innovation.

James Anderson was a garage owner from Newton Mearns near Glasgow.

He developed his home-built Anderson Special cars in the 1920s and 30s so he could take part in competitive road and hill trials.

These cars were smooth running, agile and powerful, and were also extremely successful.
