Glasgow is a busy urban city. But its parks, open spaces and gardens are home to nearly 4,000 different kinds of plants and animals.
This story highlights a few of them.
Included are some which are of particular conservation concern and are featured in Glasgow’s Local Biodiversity Action Plan.
A regularly updated computer interactive allows you to find out more about selected species within the city.
The interactive also allows you to contribute your own records, which may then be included in the interactive.
You can find out more about Glasgow's Local Biodiversity Action Plan on the Glasgow City Council website.
