Entrances
There are three entrances to Kelvingrove: two at the car park entrance, and one at the Argyle Street entrance, where a lift provides access to the museum.
British Sign Language
Some members of staff have been trained in basic British Sign Language – please make enquiries at one of the reception desks. All audio-visual presentations within the galleries will have subtitles where required.
Disabled parking
There are ten spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders in Kelvingrove's car park.
First aid
There is a first aid room on the lower ground floor, at the entrance. Please ask staff for assistance.

Floor Plans and Gallery Guides are available at reception and in the visiting section of this website.
Guide and assistance dogs
Guide and Assistance dogs are welcome in Kelvingrove, and dog bowls and water are available.
Guided tours
Guided tours of Kelvingrove are available - drop in for one of our regular tours, or make a group booking by calling 0141 287 2699.
Induction loops
There are induction loops at the reception desks on both levels, the Study Centre, Conference Room and in the Education Suite.
Lifts
There are two lifts which take visitors from the lower ground floor entrance to all other floors. A lift at the Argyle Street entrance provides access to the museum.
Parking
Limited parking is available at Kelvingrove – there are 147 pay and display spaces. Ten disabled parking spaces are available in the Kelvingrove car park. There is a drop off point for coaches and buses. Extensive pay and display parking is available in the surrounding streets.
Reception
There is a reception desk by the entrance at the car park side of the building as well as a reception desk in the Centre Hall on the ground floor.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are available on each floor. Adult changing facilities are found in the fully accessible toilets on lower and upper ground floors.
Wheelchair access
Kelvingrove is fully accessible to wheelchair users. All floors are accessible by lift. The galleries are designed to allow for wheelchair access between displays and cases. All displays/cases and interactives are at an accessible height for wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are available at reception for visitors to use.
