Ursula Keller - Display Opening 11 March
This display presents a series of photomontages made in 1996 by the German artist Ursula Keller. Each of the six works combines a photograph of a landmark or landscape from around the world with an image of a place specific to Glasgow. These photomontages were made by hand arranging each piece, and the works pre-date the kind of digital technology that is widely available today. irst displayed in the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in 1996, they imagine an alternative vision of Glasgow that is both light-hearted and surreal. Come along to see this beautiful photomontages until September.
