Sad Wee Saga

In the fading light of day
A sad wee guru went his way
Wishes as he strums his harp
For a bed of nails, nice and sharp
“Hey wee man” the baker said
I’ve the very thing to rest your head
A set of biscuit trimmers laid -
end to end just tailor made
Praying all day is no much fun
Your like a wee biscuit grey and done
A night on nails, relaxed and restive
You’ll awake refreshed like a wee digestive
“Thank you” said the little seer
I’m awful glad I landed here
And when I’ve had a little nap
I’ll bless you with a ginger snap
