Community Learning delivers community learning and development opportunities to adults and young people aged 16 years and over.
They have worked with a group in the south side of Glasgow to develop their literacy slills. And have recently worked in partnership with the Open Museum to produce this exhibition.
Community Learning uses an outreach approach to identify learners and deliver services in community venues.
A range of community-based adult learning services is provided. Included are:
- adult literacy and numeracy skills
- core skills eg communication and problem solving
- a range of basic IT skills
- craft skills
- Gaelic education, and
- core skills learning which are accredited at SQA level.
