We were sat in a room full of monkeys, elephants and tigers… But that’s just a regular day at the office here in HMP Barlinnie!
When the team from the Open Museum first arrived here we were a bit unsure about what to expect. Then we got to handle a range of objects all related to Indian truck art.
They asked each of us to choose a particular object and respond to it. This sparked a few ideas which we then developed into pieces of writing. After a few sessions everyone got right into it. You’ve got to be dead careful with the objects in case they get damaged.
