Scotland Street School Museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and events for all ages.
There are some exciting events coming up this Summer.
Exhibition: Still Sounds - a walk through sound installation by artist Margaret Moore, where you can listen to memories from the school's former pupils. 1 June - 11 August. Find out more on the exhibition page.
Exhibition: Bathing Belles - follows the rise of swimming, and suitable clothing in Glasgow over the last 200 years. From Edwardian modesty to today's super fabrics, it charts the issues around swimming and its popularity. 27 June 2013 - 5 January 2014. More information coming soon.
We are the host venue for the Samaritans Art Show, which will take place 17 - 19 May and the Southside Film Festival will bring archive footage and choose our Corky film on the 18 - 19 May.
We regularly run two live interpretation sessions. Back to School with Miss Baxter recreates a class during WWII, and Time Travellers: School Days will take you through school life in the 1960s, WWII and in Victorian Times as well.
There is also a raft of other events including events including The Corky our secret cinema club, each Sunday from 11am - don't forget your jam jar!
