Glasgow Museums has been involved in a major project exploring Scotland's most famous poet, Robert Burns.
The Distributed National Burns Collections Project has been funded by a Strategic Change Fund grant from the Scottish Government. The project aims to bring together this nationally-important collection for the first time and to make it more accessible to the public.
Glasgow Museums has been working alongside partner organisations from all over Scotland, from libraries and galleries, to universities and local Burns Clubs. Together, these organisations care for over 36,000 objects connected with Scotland's national poet.
The Distributed National Burns Collections Project is committed to preserving and promoting access to this collection.
