Glasgow Museum is involved in Museum With No Frontiers (MWNF). The MWNF’s Virtual Museum was launched in 2005 and it involves 14 countries from around the Mediterranean and Europe.
Museums in these countries were invited to select Islamic objects to form a virtual museum which explores Islamic art and culture. As well as objects, monuments and historical sites were also included.
