Curious, running until 2012, is an innovative project celebrating the 2012 Olympics and preparing for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
This project has four parts:
- A year-long exhibition in St Mungo’s Museum from August 2011 to 30 December 2012 and accompanied by a schools and events programme.
- A training programme in cultural diversity inspired by museum collections and the experiences of individuals living in Glasgow.
- A community engagement programme which will include faith groups and Glasgow’s new communities, as well as longer-standing communities.
- A conference in 2012 with international delegates reflecting on the impact of sporting and cultural events.
