Pre-sale tickets are now available for the 2013 UCI Juniors Track World Championships (JTWC) set to be held at the iconic Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome at Glasgow’s £113million Emirates Arena this summer.
The JTWC comes to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome between Wednesday 7 and Sunday 11 August and will showcase some of the very best young track cyclists from across the world. Riders will go for gold in a range of events including the team sprint, keirin, individual pursuit, omnium, sprint, madison and team pursuit as well as various time trials and scratch races.
And pre-sale tickets priced from just £3 for children and £6 for adults plus booking fee went on sale today to previous customers of cycling events at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, fans of the JTWC social media channels and members of both British Cycling and Scottish Cycling.
As well as tickets for individual sessions, special championship passes starting at £25 for children/concessions and £45 for adults, are also available. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday 25th March.
A 2013 JTWC spokesman said: “The success of our cyclists in recent times along with the popularity of major events at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will ensure that demand for the 2013 UCI Juniors Track World Championships will be extremely high.
“Around 20,000 tickets for last year’s UCI Track Cycling Word Cup sold out in less than 30 minutes. We want to build on that success and are sure the public will again turn out in large numbers to see the next generation of cyclists go for glory in Glasgow.”
